The history of the district

Le Noyer-Doré is a district in the south of Antony, developed in the 1960s as a large social housing estate. It has been deeply transformed by an urban renewal scheme, the first of its kind completed in the Ile-de-France region, launched as early as 2004.

The renovation reshaped the district around the Place des Baconnets and new facilities: the Éric-Tabarly sports complex, the Halle du Mont-Blanc and the Ousmane-Sy cultural centre. The area now combines social and private housing, in a search for a social mix, close to the Baconnets station.

On the market, le Noyer-Doré sits in the lower part of the town market, at an accessible level. The renovation, the facilities and the closeness of the RER B support demand, in particular from first-time buyers and investors looking for an entry point into Antony.
