La Gare brings together the areas around the RER E station, on place Roger-Nicolas. Most apartment sales take place in the buildings near the station, on the rue Henri-François and the rue Bonaparte. To the south lie the Brèche aux Loups and Belle-Croix, with the avenue Maurice-Chevalier, the rue Jean-Cocteau and the place Horizon, where a market is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. To the north, the avenues Gustave-Péreire, Massenet, Arluison and Guynemer form the Archevêché subdivision. On the avenue Érasme, the Pereire farm, listed as a historic monument in 1992, houses the Maurice-Ravel conservatory.
This is where the modern town was born. The Archevêché subdivision was laid out near the station from 1927 by the Société Générale Foncière, followed by the 598 houses of the Brèche aux Loups in 1968. The current station opened in 1984, and the line was connected to the RER E in 2003.

La Gare is the most affordable district of Ozoir-la-Ferrière, at 3 897 €/m², 7 % below the municipal average, even though it is home to the RER E station. The district is mostly made up of detached houses, and apartments are concentrated in a few buildings near the station. Buyers are working people who take the RER every day, first-time buyers and investors targeting rentals close to public transport. Two points to examine. The market is narrow, nine apartment sales a year spread over three areas: both the 6,0 % fall over twelve months and the 5 % rise over five years, from 3 711 €/m² in 2021 to 3 897 in 2026, should be read with caution. And the range, from 3 564 to 4 324 €/m², depends heavily on the building: a valuation by address is useful.
