To the east, it runs on into the former commune of Étion, attached to Charleville-Mézières at the merger of 1 October 1966. Rue d'Étion links the two areas, and rue du Val d'Étion, rue de l'Europe and rue de Strasbourg form a more recent residential fabric there.
