Saint-Eutrope refers to the area that occupies the hill of the same name and its slopes, to the south of the old centre of Orange. It is against this hill that the ancient theatre stands, whose stage wall has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 1981 and which hosts the Chorégies d'Orange every summer.
