Solazur occupies the south-west of Tarbes, between the avenue de l'Échez and the avenue d'Azereix. The district was built in the 1960s as flats, on former farmland, with a street vocabulary borrowed from composers: Massenet, Ravel, Gounod, Ibert, Roussel. Wikipedia devotes an article to it, and the urban authority classifies it as a priority neighbourhood under the name Solazur-Debussy.
The area has renewed itself from the south. The recent developments on the avenue Aristide-Briand and the chemin d'Odos, along with the blocks near the hospital, on the boulevard Jean-Moulin, have brought newbuild stock that the rest of the town does not have. The Bastillac business park closes the district to the west.
On the market, Solazur shows the highest average price in Tarbes, at around 1 680 €/m² for an apartment, on roughly 47 sales a year. The spread is the widest in the town, from 1 195 to 2 055 €/m² for the middle half of sales: that is the gap between the 1960s co-ownerships and the recent developments, which sit side by side within the same perimeter.
Solazur attracts first-time buyers and young households looking for a recent home built to current energy standards, along with staff from the neighbouring hospital. Demand focuses on the newbuild flats of the avenue Aristide-Briand, but also on the large units of the older co-ownerships, which are far more affordable.

Because the district concentrates the town's recent developments, along the avenue Aristide-Briand and the chemin d'Odos. That newbuild stock pulls the average to 1 680 €/m², which is 16 % above the Tarbes average, while the 1960s co-ownerships in the same area remain far more affordable.
Two markets sit side by side: the large 1960s estates, with family-sized floor areas and low prices, and the recent blocks in the south of the district. The spread of prices, from 1 195 to 2 055 €/m² for half of the sales, is the widest in Tarbes and reflects that duality directly.
