The history of the district

Valescure is a district of wooded hills to the east of Fréjus, on the edge of Saint-Raphaël, developed at the end of the nineteenth century as a holiday retreat. Aristocrats and winter visitors had villas built there among the pines and cork oaks, around a golf course created in 1895, one of the oldest in France. The district has kept this open residential character, away from the seafront.

The district stretches over the heights between the town and the Esterel, in a setting of forest and villas. The Valescure golf course, the parks and the large wooded plots make it an area sought after for its calm and its greenery, a few minutes from the beaches. Housing there is mostly detached, with a few residences and small condominiums.

Sought after for its residential setting and its wooded environment, Valescure draws steady demand for villas and upmarket houses. The apartment market, more limited, sits above the town average, driven by the district's reputation and the proximity of the golf course and the sea.

Who buys in Valescure

Valescure attracts families, executives, retirees and second-home buyers looking for a residential and green setting. Demand focuses mainly on villas and houses among the pines, as well as on apartments in the few residences of the area.
