The town centre concentrates apartment demand in Savigny. Buyers are first-time buyers and young working people who work in Paris and want to reach the station on foot, investors targeting that same rental demand, and older residents of Savigny leaving a house on the plateau for a single-level apartment near the shops. It is the only district in the commune where the supply of flats is broad enough to absorb those three sources of demand.
