Nonères occupies the north of Mont-de-Marsan, between avenue Henri-Farbos, avenue de Nonères and boulevard d'Haussez. The area was built with the post-war expansion of the town, when it pushed northwards towards air base 118, set up in 1945 and named after Colonel Rozanoff.
Rue Goritz, rue Hélène-Boucher and avenue du Colonel-Couilleau form its frame, with a larger stock of blocks of flats than in the rest of the commune. Avenue du Colonel-Rozanoff, named after the founder of the military flight test centre, marks its north-western edge.
