The history of the district

Ardenay occupies the western side of the centre of Palaiseau, between the rue de Paris and the climb up to the plateau. The area takes its name from the parc d'Ardenay, a residential development that accounts on its own for a large share of the district's sales.

The district is laid out around that park and around the domaine de la Butte à la Reine, two condominium developments in a wooded setting, and extends towards the rue du 11-Novembre-1918, the rue Mirabeau and the chemin de la Hunière, which climbs towards Le Pileu.

Who buys in Ardenay

Ardenay attracts families and working people looking for a quiet development with green space, a few minutes from the centre and the station. Demand focuses on three and four-room flats in the large residential developments, usually bought to live in rather than to let. Proximity to the plateau and its jobs counts for more and more in buyers' decisions.
