The history of the district

Borderouge has been completely transformed over the last two decades, moving from the former market gardens of northern Toulouse to one of the largest eco-districts in the city. The metro established its northern terminus there.

The district is organised around the Maourine park, the Museum Gardens and its market hall, mixing new homes, public facilities and green spaces. The neighbouring areas of Nicol, Grand Selve and Lapujade extend that recent development.

Carried by intense production of new housing, Borderouge holds one of the largest transaction volumes in Toulouse. Prices there remain among the most affordable in the city, supported by the supply of new homes.

Who buys in Borderouge

Borderouge attracts above all young families and first-time buyers drawn by the supply of new homes, the green spaces and the metro service. Demand focuses on recent and new apartments, from two-room flats to family sized units. The strong production of housing and the green setting support a very active market, at affordable prices.
