Mezzavia covers the whole north of the town, on either side of the route de Mezzavia and the RN 193, the road that climbs towards the interior of the island. The area brings together old localities that have become residential districts: Le Stiletto, La Confina, Stagnacciu, Punta Mozza, Suartello, San Biaggio, Acqualonga.
It is the part of the town that has changed the most over the past twenty years. Housing estates and recent developments have replaced the farmland there, with schemes such as Les Terrasses de la Confina, Le Domaine de Suartello and Les Jardins de Mezzavia.
