The history of the district

Fabron was built up on the hills of western Nice, overlooking the coast, from the 1960s onwards. The district grew around large condominium complexes built between 1960 and 1980, designed to make the most of the slope and the aspect towards the bay.

This wave of construction gave the area its present appearance: large residential complexes with green spaces, swimming pools and car parks, within an open residential fabric that contrasts with the density of the centre. A few detached villas complete the building stock on the higher ground.

Today, Fabron remains a residential district in the west favoured by families, a short distance from the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches, in a quiet and open setting while staying connected to the rest of the city.

Who buys in Fabron

The district appeals above all to families looking for a quiet residential setting, comfortable floor areas and outdoor space, as well as buyers drawn to sea views and to the amenities of the complexes (swimming pool, green spaces, parking). There are also second-home buyers and a few investors targeting long-term rentals, with demand focused mainly on two- and three-room flats with a balcony.

Fabron is a residential district in the west of Nice, set on the hills overlooking the coast, between the Promenade des Anglais and the heights, away from the centre.

Mostly apartments in large residential complexes from the 1960s to the 1980s, often with a swimming pool, green spaces and parking, along with a few detached villas on the higher ground.

The area is best suited to a family home purchase. For rental investment, two- and three-room flats with outdoor space and parking find steady demand, the market remaining less tight than in the centre.

The district, set on the western hills, is close to the coast where tram line T2 runs (Port - Airport). From the heights, the tram is reached by bus or by car, and the airport remains quickly accessible along the seafront.
